Key responsibilities include participating in design discussions, selecting and maintaining Big Data tools and frameworks, developing distributed processing systems using Akka and Spark, and critically reviewing existing data pipelines for improvements.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Individual Contributor with at least 3 years of experience in developing highly scalable Big Data pipelines. Required skills include expertise in Spark, Akka, Storm, Hadoop, and various file formats, as well as ETL tools like Apache NiFi and Airflow.

  • Strong coding skills in Java or Scala, with knowledge of design patterns
  • Proficiency in Git, Gradle/Maven/SBT
  • Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, profiling, and optimization

Beyond technical skills, we value strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple projects. A passion for learning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting is essential for this role.
