The Industrial Equipment Specialist is responsible for providing primary support to production by troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing equipment downtime to ensure maximum output.
This role will support continuous improvement initiatives and the installation and validation of tools and equipment. You'll work closely with the engineering team to execute all equipment-related activities.
This position is part of the Engineering Function and will be located in Bengaluru. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to monitor equipment status and performance.
- You will be proactive in addressing problems using appropriate troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Assess equipment performance and repair history, then work with engineers to plan preventative maintenance schedules and equipment upgrades.
Candidates should have a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and 2-4 years of relevant experience in Medical Device or related industries.
Able to work in a manufacturing environment, flexible to work off-shifts and weekends as per production schedule. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and frequent kneeling and bending are required.
