SAP ABAP Manager Job Description

As a seasoned SAP ABAP Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of large-scale SAP projects.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Implementation/Support/Roll-out projects, with expertise in at least one functional module from a programming perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ABAP developments for SAP Implementation/Support/Upgrade Projects
  • Understand functional specifications, prepare technical specification, develop code, and conduct unit testing
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, developing and testing fixes, and migrating solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3-4 years of SAP Implementation/support project experience
  • Expertise in SAP ABAP, WebDynpro, and UI5
  • Strong understanding of Development Life Cycles
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in distributed delivery and diversified team environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong product/technology/industry knowledge and troubleshooting skills
