About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and efficiency across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and maintaining systems that meet our high standards for uptime, latency, and data integrity.

Your primary focus will be on building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant systems using cloud-based technologies such as Azure. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain reliable systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology solutions. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in production operations, platform engineering, or SRE
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure, including AKS, Storage, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor
  • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including HA/DR, logical/physical replication, performance tuning, and connection pooling
  • Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and GitOps (Flux/Argo)
  • Proven incident leadership at scale, blameless postmortems, and SLO/error-budget governance
  • Crisp written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • CKA/CKAD certifications
  • Experience with Apache NiFi, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, or Redpanda
  • Familiarity with compliance and security best practices (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
  • Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and eBPF tooling
