Our organization is seeking an accomplished Data Solutions Strategist to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of our cutting-edge data architecture. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions in cloud environments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and architect innovative, Azure-based data solutions that meet business requirements and drive growth.
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, and other tools.
  • Define and enforce data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices to ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level data engineers to help them grow professionally.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve data platform efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead performance tuning, data modeling, and real-time data integration efforts to drive business outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and enterprise data solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines design, development, and orchestration using Azure Data Factory and other tools.
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data processing, including batch and streaming data using Azure Event Grid and Azure Functions.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data transformation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
