Objective:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to oversee structural engineering and BIM projects. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and modelers to deliver high-quality projects on time.

  • Manage and coordinate multiple structural engineering and BIM projects simultaneously.
  • Review and guide the development of structural drawings, models, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with industry codes and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate project components and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Perform regular design checks, clash detection, and model validation to guarantee accuracy and quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and BIM modelers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor project progress, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation for client approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues and build strong relationships.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering and BIM/construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE).
  • Experience in managing a team and delivering coordinated BIM models.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
