Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Development Expert to join our team at r3 Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and firmware development, with a focus on microcontrollers and embedded C programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop firmware for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers using ARM M0/M9, STM32, and TI platforms.
  • Work on programming and interfacing peripherals such as timers, UART, CAN, ADC, DAC, IO, I2C, SPI, LCD, RTC, sensors, and actuators.
  • Develop firmware architecture and architectural views in Embedded CC.
  • Integrate hardware and firmware components and debug code.
  • Document deliverables, including firmware code, hex files, flow chart diagrams, firmware specifications, and test procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded C programming and microcontroller architecture.
  • Experience with wireless protocols, industrial protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, Modbus Serial, CAN, Ethernet/IP), and automotive protocols.
  • Good understanding of power converters and inverter topologies and software control schemes.
  • Experience with agency certification processes (EMC, UL, FCC).
  • Hands-on experience with Code Composer Studio Compiler and IAR Compiler.
  • Preferred: exposure to web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Webservers).
