We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design and develop complex data models using GCP Looker.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analysis, with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex data models using GCP Looker, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data engineering scripts using SQL, Python, and other tools, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and improve existing data models and dashboards, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of IT experience with good exposure into diagnosis and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, ETL processes, and data engineering, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting for automation, with the ability to write efficient and effective code.
  • Good communication and customer handling skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Google ACE, Data Engineer or equivalent certification preferred, demonstrating expertise in data engineering and analytics.

Desired Skills:

  • Monitoring and Logging, ensuring seamless monitoring and logging of data processing activities.
  • Database administration, with a focus on ensuring database performance, security, and integrity.
