Accounting Specialist Role

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. Your primary responsibility will be to process accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors and suppliers.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and tax departments, to ensure seamless execution of AP activities. Participate in statutory audits, due diligences, and internal audits, providing essential support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage AP invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms with vendors
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices, adhering to company's cash flow management strategy
  • Participate in month-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documents
  • Support employee reimbursement and foreign vendor payment processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work effectively with multiple teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP, COUPA, DarwinBox)
  • Immediate joiners preferred
