About Sandoz

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our organization in Ghaziabad, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing engineering activities within their technical area of expertise.

  • Execute design and implementation of engineering activities using reliable and cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Responsible for maintenance & calibration activities and commissioning activities for projects at site level.
  • Supervise plant engineering team providing technical assistance to the function and ensuring that the best possible maintenance, repair, and/or modifications are undertaken.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Ensure compliance with industrial standards and GMP guidelines. Implement preventive maintenance plan in shutdown intervals according to the schedule maintenance plan and planned corrective repairs to equipment problems.

2. Participate in maintenance/reliability reviews of new projects. Execute and follow up any infrastructure/civil work task in the production plant.

3. Supervise the change over operations for production equipment to improve productivity of equipment. Coach and motivate new team members. Responsible for personal and professional development.

4. Perform project HSE management & execute project safety stops/reviews. Execute project in alignment with key local and global stakeholders. Apply state-of-the-art technical solutions according to compliance standards and HSE regulations.

5. Ensure projects on site are developed through their various stages of scope, definition, approval, and implementation. Get permits for maintenance/calibration/projects.

6. Execute work orders for maintenance/calibration as per method statement/procedure. Responsible for personal and professional development. Update CMMS after maintenance/calibration completion.

7. Document execution of calibration, Process Engineer. Support building organizational culture in line with company values.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in OSD Oncology facility in reputed pharmaceutical company.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory capacity.
  • Experience of handling containment machinery.
