About This Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Oracle DB migration efforts.

This role involves overseeing the entire migration lifecycle, from assessment and planning to execution, validation, and post-migration optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive migration strategy, leveraging best practices and methodologies.
  • Design and execute Oracle database migrations across various environments, including Data Center-to-Data Center, cloud setups, and Exadata platforms.
  • Maintain high availability through end-to-end database backup and recovery using Rubrik and RMAN.
  • Implement delta data synchronization strategies to minimize downtime during migration.
  • Monitor database performance, health, and proactive alerting using Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Optimize database size and performance through effective data purging and archival strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience with Oracle Database, with at least 5 years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • A proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in complex environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as OEM for monitoring and migration validation.
