Job Opportunity: Capital Cost Estimator

Are you a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills? We are seeking a skilled Capital Cost Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed capital cost estimates for construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses to support informed decision-making.
  • Draft contract packages and amendments to protect the interests of all parties involved.
  • Develop pricing documents for tender packages and conduct commercial evaluations of tender submissions.
  • Negotiate with tenderers as needed and ascertain amounts due to contractors for price variations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of QS & cost management processes, including the ability to interpret drawings for quantification.
  • Chartered QS status under a recognized organization is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and IT literacy are required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are crucial for effective collaboration.

Note:
