Lead Data Analyst - Data Quality Expert

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Data Analyst with a strong focus on data quality. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving data exploration, enhancing data quality, and contributing to the success of our project by supporting data acquisition, cleansing, and validation processes.

This role requires a deep understanding of data quality principles and experience with data matching techniques, including fuzzy logic. You will be expected to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, drive process improvements, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing data matching logic and improving data quality within our solution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve data quality, including identifying data quality issues, proposing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in weekly review sessions using Jupyter Notebook to demonstrate data insights and analysis.
  • Support the growth of our project by assisting with data acquisition, cleansing, and validation processes for new markets.
  • Analyze and validate SCI records after batch ingestion, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to facilitate the manual validation of records.
  • Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.

Requirements:
Skill Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Extensive experience using Jupyter Notebook for data analysis and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of data matching techniques, including fuzzy logic.
  • Experience working with large datasets from various sources (Excel, databases, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data cleansing, data validation, and data acquisition.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
