Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud security frameworks and architectures that meet business requirements and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's SIEM infrastructure using CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM.
  • Onboard new data sources into the SIEM, including log parsing, normalization, and enrichment.
  • Develop and fine-tune correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and reports to detect potential security incidents.
  • Work with security analysts to improve detection capabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational log management requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SIEM performance, ingestion, and alerting issues.
  • Assist in incident investigations by providing SIEM logs and context to responders.
  • Stay current with threat intelligence and industry trends to improve rule logic and use cases.
  • Document configurations, processes, and procedures for SIEM operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC environments with hands-on experience with at least one major SIEM platform.
  • Proficiency in writing queries using CrowdStrike Query Language (CQL).
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Ability to analyze security incidents and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring tools and technologies, including SOAR tools and integrating SIEM with SOAR platforms.

Security Frameworks:

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards, including NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.

Continuous Improvement:

You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and to continuously improve our security posture through process improvements and technology enhancements.

Teamwork:

You will work closely with our security analysts and engineers to identify and prioritize security risks, and to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
