Chemicals and Materials Project Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our Chemicals and Materials Practice. This position focuses on market assessment, market-entry analysis, distribution channel analysis, due diligence, acquisition screening, customer perception, retention, and satisfaction across the chemicals and related process industries and CPG/consumer healthcare industries.

This role will report to the Director of Chemicals and Materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Guide research process and deliverables of proprietary projects
  • Oversight of individuals conducting research and writing reports
  • Collaboration with senior management to develop/refine project scope, scheduling, budget, and client deliverables
  • Driving staff performance for successful study completion
  • Ensuring content and quality of studies
  • Writing/reviewing reports for proprietary studies
  • Working with project teams to conduct analysis, develop appraisal, and prepare presentations and supporting documentation
  • Presenting findings to clients
  • Selected primary interviews to obtain critical insights and information
  • Assisting in practice growth and development
  • Developing proposals in response to client requests
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Assisting with business development meetings and presentations
  • Identifying enhancements to project deliverables and work processes
  • Developing junior staff
  • 8+ years of experience in consulting in the chemical industry
  • Experience developing, managing, and presenting project results to senior management
  • Analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and motivate in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering (preferably Chemical), or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Foreign language skills are a plus
  • Good oral and written English language skills are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
