Role Overview:Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prototype, build, and deploy solutions.
  2. Maintain and optimize the backend code, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and adopt those that enable safe and efficient product delivery.
  4. Automate repetitive tasks to focus on high-value tasks.
  5. Contribute to team growth and development.
  6. Optimize application performance.
  7. Take initiatives to drive change and achieve business goals while maintaining safety.
  8. Coach full-stack developers on backend skills.
  9. Provide problem resolution support, identify and resolve application software issues, and ensure accurate problem definition.
  10. Develop functional, architectural, and other documentation as required for team productivity.
  11. Represent OJ Commerce at industry events, conferences, and meetups.
  12. Be adaptable and prepared to handle changing responsibilities.
  13. Lead the digital transformation of legacy applications.
Ideal Candidate:What we need:
  1. Prior experience in modernizing legacy applications.
  2. Passionate hands-on developer with expertise in building enterprise-grade software using Microsoft ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SOA, Micro-Services, and RESTful Services, along with knowledge of SQL Server database.
  3. Ability to see and work on both the big picture (application architecture) and devilish details (complex code).
  4. Strong experience in developing web applications using C#, VB.Net, .NET, LINQ, Net Framework 4.0, MVC 3/4/5, ASP.NET Web API, .Net Core, etc.
  5. Cloud expertise, preferably Google Cloud.
  6. Rich experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) with good knowledge of practical design patterns and their applications.
  7. Hands-on experience in building SOA or Micro-services, preferably on .NET Core.
  8. Proven architectural skills with high standards in code quality.
  9. Knowledge of ReactJS/Typescript is an added advantage.
  10. Practical experience in Agile development methodologies, including CI/CD.
  11. Experience with Extreme Programming (TDD) is highly sought after.
