Process Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will apply engineering techniques to improve manufacturing processes and products.

  • This role involves providing technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement, and project management skills in a plant support capacity that ensures safe, efficient, and low-cost plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize manufacturing equipment and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assess current manufacturing equipment and processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain equipment by troubleshooting issues and performing repairs.
  • Analyze data and produce reports on results.
  • Conduct tests and measurements throughout the production process to ensure control over variables such as temperature, density, pressure, and viscosity.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to develop and implement more efficient and cost-effective approaches to project designs.
  • Address basic issues under supervision and escalate complex problems to appropriate staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and continuous improvement experience or certifications.
  • Working knowledge of engineering subject matter and proficiency in PI data historian, ACAD auto CAD, and MS Project programs.
  • Project management experience gained through prior experience.
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience.
  • Familiarity with Green Belt, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
