Job Overview

As a seasoned software expert on our reliability engineering team, you'll design, develop, and support large-scale features and infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be excited to challenge conventional thinking and apply critical skills across multiple disciplines, including product design, usability, building APIs, user-centric online applications, automation, business logic, scaling performance, and 24x7 reliability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Scale and support distributed systems, making architectural trade-offs using synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, writing code, and delivering with speed and quality.
  • Develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate continuously.
  • Produce high-quality software that's unit-tested, code-reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
  • Identify, leverage, and successfully advocate opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in Python and/or Java.
  • 5+ years of UNIX systems engineering and/or systems administration experience.
