Flairdeck Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our endpoint systems.
About You
- You have 4-6 years of experience in handling antivirus software and threat protection.
- You are experienced in deploying and configuring antivirus software across multiple machines.
- You have a strong understanding of patch management and can ensure that antivirus software is up-to-date with the latest virus definitions, patches, and updates.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and respond to malware detection alerts and virus outbreaks.
- You are a strong communicator and can work effectively with the System Admin team to develop and execute response plans for virus outbreaks or security breaches.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure antivirus software across 2,500 machines.
- Ensure proper configuration settings for effective virus protection, including scheduled scans, real-time protection, and automated updates.
- Continuously monitor the antivirus console for alerts and incidents.
- Analyze and report on any virus or malware incidents and follow up with remediation actions.
- Manage deployment of updates in a timely manner to minimize vulnerabilities.
- Work with the System Admin team to investigate and mitigate security incidents.
- Develop and execute response plans for virus outbreaks or security breaches.
- Assist in post-incident analysis and reporting to prevent future occurrences.
- Generate regular reports on antivirus status, detected threats, and actions taken.
