Python Automation Test Engineer with Scala Experience

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Python Automation Test Engineer with Scala Experience. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios.

  1. Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Utilize your expertise in Python to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts that ensure software functionality and performance.
  2. Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests into the development pipeline.
  3. Write and Execute Test Cases: Write and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance, identifying bugs and working closely with developers for resolutions.
  4. Develop or Enhance CI/CD Pipelines: Develop or enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated tests, ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality software.
  5. Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement, optimize test execution, and refine the testing process.
  6. Utilize Scala: Leverage your knowledge of Scala to interact with back-end systems or for custom test utilities, enhancing the overall testing experience.
  7. Contribute to Test Planning: Contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting efforts, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  8. Maintain Documentation: Maintain documentation related to test strategies and processes, ensuring transparency and efficiency throughout the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with Python programming language
  • Knowledge of Scala and its applications
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams
