Biologist Scientist

You will be working with leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge.

1. Design and solve challenging biology problems to probe the limitations of large language models.
2. Develop detailed, step-by-step solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning.
3. Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals, especially in areas where models typically struggle (e.g., conceptual abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and data interpretation).
4. Contribute to defining new evaluation benchmarks based on biology curricula spanning to PhD-level topics.

• A Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field is required.
• Excellent research and analytical skills are necessary for success in this position.
• The ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations is also essential.
• Creative and lateral thinking abilities are important for developing innovative solutions.
