
Renal Care Specialist

Under the guidance of senior nursing professionals, this Renal Care Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals suffering from end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the preparation and operation of dialysis equipment, verifying all necessary alarm tests are performed.
- Review physician orders, collect pre-treatment data, and assess patient records prior to dialysis treatment.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, vascular access, laboratory findings, and overall health status.
- Verify patients are adhering to prescribed medication regimens and perform medication reconciliation as needed.
- Document patient findings, interventions, and advise providers of any significant changes in patient condition.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their care and treatment options.
- Supervise dialysis technicians during treatment sessions, monitoring patient reactions and performance of dialysis machines.
- Assess, prepare, and cannulate patient vascular access sites, including needle insertion for arteriovenous fistula or grafts.
- Extensive knowledge of renal care principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive salary range: $7,500.00 - $8,000.00 per month.
