Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Full Stack Developer. The successful candidate will have expertise in software development using Java, JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux and Web services.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the retail industry is necessary.
Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working on STIBO STEP configuration and custom development.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the latest developments in the STEP platform and suggesting upgrades.
  • Setting up new integrations, adding object types to the data model, business rules and workflow.
  • Collaborating with product management, business teams and transforming requirements into solutions and technical design documents.
  • Participating in agile delivery environments and utilizing Jira/Git proficiently.
  • Debugging business rules and resolving defects.
  • Evaluating upgrade advantages and collaborating with Dev Ops to perform upgrades.
  • Ensuring solutions are scalable and extensible by conducting performance tests.
  • Collaborating with production support teams to maintain system stability during peak demands.
  • Becoming operational ready and implementing alerts/monitoring to aid production support teams.
  • Ensuring PHI/PII data security and compliance.
Requirements

The following qualifications are essential:

  • Expert technical experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux and Web services.
  • STIBO STEP systems configuration, development, architectural design and integration experience.
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases (Oracle, DB2 or SQL) and ability to write/review complex operational queries.
  • Good understanding of API RESTful services.
  • Ability to define deployment processes and methodologies.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Experience in building standards and reusable components for customization.
  • Assistance in tool evaluations, architectural choices and POCs.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable:

  • Stibo STEP Certification.
  • MDM/PIM experience.
