Information Security Specialist

Job Summary:

Cybersecurity is a critical aspect of protecting medical devices and equipment from cyber threats. We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of effective cybersecurity strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities in medical devices.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure timely and effective mitigation of cybersecurity incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop secure software and hardware solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of information security.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on cybersecurity best practices and procedures.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or higher, and at least six years of experience in information security, with a strong background in threat analysis, risk management, and incident response.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF)
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of cloud security architecture and deployment models
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
