Enterprise Search Engine Architect

We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Search Engine Architect to join our team. This is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience working on search products, as well as expertise in search tuning and engine optimization.

  • This role demands hands-on experience with multiple search engines, including Sinequa, Elastic Search, Solr, Coveo, Attivio, LucidWorks, Amazon Cloud Search, Google Cloud Search, and SharePoint search.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of relevancy scores, boosting, and burying, as well as the ability to optimize search results using signals and other techniques.
  • A background in customizing Solr data handlers and query processors is also highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful API, Node.js, and Azure cloud platform will be considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale search systems.
  • Develop and execute strategies for improving search relevance and performance.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 13 years of experience in search product development and engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of one or more search engines.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality search solutions under tight deadlines.
