Odoo Consultant and Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Odoo Software developer and Consultant to join our team at Thoughtlogik Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Odoo's open-source ERP and business management software and will play a crucial role in helping our clients optimize their business processes through Odoo implementation and customization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consultation and Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges, analyze and document client requirements and objectives, and provide expert advice on how Odoo can address specific business needs.
  • Odoo Implementation: Customize and configure Odoo modules to meet the client's requirements, install, upgrade, and maintain Odoo applications, and ensure data migration and system integration, if necessary.
  • Development and Customization: Design and develop custom Odoo modules or apps as per client needs, modify existing modules to enhance functionality or user experience, and troubleshoot and debug issues related to Odoo development.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing to ensure the stability and functionality of Odoo solutions, identify and rectify bugs and issues in a timely manner.
  • Training and Support: Train end-users and clients on how to effectively use Odoo, provide ongoing technical support and assistance to clients, and stay up-to-date with Odoo updates and new features.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an Odoo Consultant and Developer.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong understanding of Odoo ERP modules and customization.
  • Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Odoo certification is a plus but not required.
