At Qualcomm, we're driving the future of technology to create a smarter, connected world. As an embedded software engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software applications, collaborating with systems, hardware, and architecture engineers to obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in embedded software development. Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming is essential, as well as working knowledge of device driver programming in Linux/RTOS.

Additional qualifications include fluency in industry-standard software development tools, such as debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs, and build tools. Solid working knowledge of Android versions, thorough understanding of Android Display Framework, Composer HAL, DRM-KMS, and OpenWFD standard are also required.

As an embedded display driver implementation expert, you'll have excellent knowledge of display HW processing and various RGB & YUV display color formats. Experience in embedded display driver implementation is necessary for success in this role.
