AS400 Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AS400 developer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience in developing and implementing complex CL programs, as well as working with DB2 concepts and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain AS400 applications using RPGLE, CLLE, and ILE programming languages.
  • Design and develop databases using DB2 concepts and associated methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for AS400 applications.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in AS400 development, preferably with exposure to complete life cycle of development at least once on commercial applications.
  3. Extensive knowledge of AS400 technology, including RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, and ILE programming languages.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  5. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in Insurance domain, preferably with Life insurance.
  2. Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  3. Self-motivated, flexible, responsible, and a desire for quality.
