Aerial Mapping Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerial Mapping Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our field operations team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a high-impact government project in the energy sector. Your primary responsibility will be to operate AI-powered drones to capture high-quality aerial data of electrical infrastructure such as poles, transformers, and other assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drones to capture images/videos of assigned infrastructure with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit captured files in a timely manner.
  • Ensure drones, batteries, and related equipment are properly maintained and functioning effectively.
  • Collaborate with field teams to identify areas requiring drone mapping and inspection.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Drone Pilot or thorough knowledge of drone handling and operation.
  • Valid drone flying license/Remote Pilot Certificate (if required by regulations).
  • Familiarity with drone hardware, batteries, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to capture clear, precise images under various conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in field locations and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including laptops, and willingness to learn new technologies.
