At Clover Infotech Private Limited, we are seeking a skilled Middleware WebSphere Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WebSphere and IBM http servers, with experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.



Main Responsibilities


  • Installation and configuration of WebSphere and IBM http servers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Creation of Data sources, Clusters, and servers, streamlining our infrastructure and improving efficiency.
  • Development and implementation of JMS servers, deployment activities, and application deployment strategies.
  • Troubleshooting of application slowness, identifying root causes, and executing corrective actions to maintain high application uptime.
  • Creation of Change Requests (CRs) for configuration changes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Applying Security Patches to safeguard our system against vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Development and maintenance of Proof of Concept (POA) and rollback plans for changes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum uptime.
  • Implementation of configuration-related changes, adhering to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Preparation and execution of necessary changes on servers for Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill Activities, ensuring business continuity.
  • Closure of Hardening and Vulnerability Assessment (VA) related points, maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
  • Migration and Upgradation of WebSphere and IBM/Apache http servers, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Creation and renewal of SSL Certificates, ensuring secure data transfer and encryption.
  • Integration of WebSphere with IBM/Apache http servers, streamlining our infrastructure and improving efficiency.
  • Monitoring of server performance, heap size, and system logs, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Taking thread dumps and providing them to relevant teams, facilitating issue resolution and system optimization.
  • Monitoring and checking Middleware-related OS parameters, such as disk space utilization, open files, Nproc, and CPU utilization, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Checking and closing tickets, maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Sharing application-related logs and files, facilitating issue resolution and system optimization.
  • Monitoring of IBM http server/Apache Http server or checking for any 500 or 404 errors, ensuring high-quality standards and system stability.
  • Sharing access and error-related logs of WebSphere and IBM http server/Apache Http servers, facilitating issue resolution and system optimization.
  • Shadowing the L2 engineer if any changes are being made on servers, ensuring knowledge transfer and system optimization.
