Job Opportunity: Deputy General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Deputy General Manager.

  • About the Position:
  • This is a leadership position responsible for managing the tendering process, bid management, and proposals.
  • The successful candidate will have expertise in preparing tenders for Oil and Gas, Energy, and will have proficiency across end-to-end Bid management/Tendering for Govt. clients/ PSUs including technical writeup & cost estimation, subcontracting, JVs, consortium, client liaisoning and project management.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tenders for various clients.
  • Identify relevant tenders from PSUS, Govt Agencies and private companies through various resources.
  • Prepare pre-qualification documents, EOI, BIDS, attend pre-bid meetings etc.
  • Maintain excellent professional relations with clients as well as coordinate with central functions for bid compliance (accounts, legal, FICO, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Execution team and maintain relationship with all external parties for bidding job.
  • Liaison and day-to-day correspondence along with legal contractual correspondences with customers.
  • Generate relevant MIS reports/ tender tracking updates.
  • Achieve order booking target from Tenders.
  • Maintain documentation and correspondence of BD activities and update of credentials on regular basis.
  • Business Sales Forecasting.
  • Ensure new empanelment and renewal of existing one with PSU and other agencies.
  • Requirements:
  • B.Tech Electrical/Mechanical + 10 years of experience in bidding/Tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Bidding & Tendering activity.
  • Strategic and analytical ability. Good writing and calculation skills.
