Backend Development Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled backend developer with hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and MongoDB.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, distributed backend services that power our core products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop modular, high-performance systems for scale using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Architect and maintain microservices and backend APIs.
  • Integrate and optimize MongoDB databases with efficient schema design and indexing.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor microservices on cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
  • Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms across distributed services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong working knowledge of microservices architecture and inter-service communication patterns.
  • Practical experience with MongoDB including schema design, aggregation, and indexing.
  • Hands-on experience deploying services on cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with API design principles, CI/CD workflows, and Git.
  • Understanding of containerization and cloud-native application patterns.
