Senior Data Analytics Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Professional to play a key role in delivering innovative analytics solutions across the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on bespoke report building, dashboard development, and advanced data analysis using cutting-edge technologies.

  1. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, leveraging their capabilities to drive business outcomes.

  • Perform advanced data analysis and visualisation to support strategic decision-making, providing actionable insights that inform business growth.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and queries using SQL and Python, ensuring seamless integration with various data sources.

  • Apply data science techniques such as predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and regression to solve complex business problems and uncover valuable opportunities.

  • Perform feature engineering and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for machine learning workflows, enhancing model accuracy and reliability.

  • Build, validate, and tune machine learning models using tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance over time, ensuring they deliver consistent value and meet business objectives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data science problems and communicate findings in a clear, actionable manner, fostering effective partnerships and driving results.

  • Use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support evidence-based decision-making, providing a robust foundation for business success.

  • Document data science workflows and maintain reproducibility of experiments and models, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the analytics process.

  • Support the Data Analytics Manager in delivering analytics projects and mentoring junior analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team success and growth.

Requirements:

  • Professional Certifications (preferred or in progress):

    Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)

    SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake)

    Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

    AWS Certified: Data Analytics – Specialty

  • Strong technical expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and R, with hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models.

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AWS Glue, as well as ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
