Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting records, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and lead financial reporting and external audits.

  • This position is responsible for reviewing accounting areas, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, lease accounting, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany accounting.
  • The Senior Accounting Manager will manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Additionally, the role involves overseeing preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual subsidiary accounting close packs.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reviewing accounting areas, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, lease accounting, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany accounting.
  2. Managing month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with US GAAP.
  3. Overseeing preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual subsidiary accounting close packs.
  4. Coodinating with HQ on intercompany services agreements and support external audits.
Internal Controls and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Maintaining and enhancing internal control frameworks in accordance with SOX.
  • Partnering with Internal Audit and Compliance teams to improve process effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to create/improve operational processes and complete projects.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in managerial capacity.
  • Experience with US headquartered companies and Big 4 or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
