Job Title: Senior Storage Administrator

Job Description:

The organization is seeking a seasoned storage professional to oversee the administration and management of NAS storage solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in NAS storage administration with a primary focus on NetApp storage.
  • Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) and storage networking concepts (SAN, NAS).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its hardware/software products.
  • Hands-on experience in opensource analytics and visualization tools like Grafana.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions such as TSM & Commvault, data migration tools (DataDobi, Robocopy, securecopy), and SAN storage arrays and switches.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer and manage NAS storage solutions with a primary focus on NetApp storage.
  2. Maintain and optimize Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its associated hardware/software products.
  3. Ensure the efficient operation of NetApp NAS Storage (CDOT) platforms, including features like StorageGRID, FabricPool, replication, and comprehensive backup strategies.
  4. Develop and implement scripting/automation solutions using Ansible to streamline storage operations.
  5. Utilize opensource analytics and visualization tools like Grafana for monitoring and reporting on storage health and performance.
  6. Collaborate effectively across various teams and departments, sharing knowledge and ensuring seamless integration of storage solutions.
