At FolkServ, we are seeking an experienced IT Asset Discovery Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and configuring BMC Discovery Tool to collect and update information on IT assets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Configuring and optimizing BMC Discovery to collect and update information on a wide range of IT assets.
  • Maintaining and updating BMC Discovery policies, patterns, and credentials to adapt to changes in the IT environment.
  • Working with the security team to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and document business requirements.

This is a full-time role that requires excellent communication skills, a good understanding of networking concepts, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Unix platforms. Scripting using Perl, Unix, SQL, and TPL is preferred. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of cloud technologies and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
