Senior ServiceNow Developer

STAND 8 Technology Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team and contribute to an exciting greenfield development project. As part of the Service Management Applications team, the role involves developing solutions in Workplace Experience, Service Management, Business Management, and Operations Management across the enterprise using the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, administer, and rollout solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope and design solutions for business and technical requirements, with a focus on minimizing customizations.
  • Develop workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance strategy, including unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Actively contribute to automation efforts on the platform.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management solutions within an enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, implementation, and administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Application Suite, including ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.).
  • Solid grounding in web application development fundamentals (identity, security, etc.).
  • Experience with structured data, schema, and databases.
  • Experience integrating applications using RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts.
  • Familiarity with the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB Identification and Reconciliation Rules (IRE).
  • Ability to understand and adapt to complex business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
