Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various initiatives, including migration activities, process improvements, and system-related projects with Workday.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Upload insurance-related journals into the system on a monthly basis.
  • System Integration: Support migration of opening balances into Workday for global entities.
  • Analytical Support: Assist in developing reconciliation processes for improved reporting and controls.
  • Process Mapping: Create process flow maps for transition from current to future state.
  • Validation Services: Provide analytical support for controls and custom validations in Workday.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A university degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and familiarity with ERP/finance systems (Workday preferred).
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Good communication skills and strong analytical ability.
  • Additional Qualification: Knowledge of Insurance Accounting is an added advantage.
