Senior Thermal Equipment Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior engineering manager to lead our team of engineers and draughtsmen. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in thermal calculations, and a commitment to quality, timely delivery, and the use of Best Available Technology.
- Plan and execute engineering activities on time.
- Lead teams of engineers and draughtsmen in designing and engineering thermal equipment for steel strip processing lines.
- Ensure the use of BAT (Best Available Technology) in the equipment designed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control teams of engineers and draughtsmen to carry out engineering activities.
- Plan design activities for projects and teams.
- Ensure timely completion of all activities.
- Provide P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and Data Sheets as required.
- Select bought-out components.
- Perform Design calculations.
Requirements:
- First Class Engineering Graduate in Mechanical / Industrial / Production from a reputed university.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in process design of Furnaces, Ovens, and thermal equipment.
- Thorough experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor / SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of Ansys / FEA and CFD is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Work experience in a Matrix Organization is an added advantage.
