Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar structure manufacturing, lean production systems, and team leadership. This is a critical role focused on achieving production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and oversee all aspects of production on the shop floor, ensuring daily targets are met.
  2. Supervise and optimize job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various stages of manufacturing.
  3. Design and implement layout plans for new projects including fixtures, gauges, and machinery installation.
  4. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs.
  5. Ensure in-process inventory management and a smooth production flow.
  6. Coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful development and integration of new products or structures.
  7. Monitor production costs and optimize resource usage to meet budget targets.
  8. Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and policies.
  9. Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through lean practices and automation initiatives.
  10. Ensure compliance with quality standards and certifications as required for solar product manufacturing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of solar mounting structures and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience in handling production machinery, tools, and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in production planning software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
