Job Summary

This is a senior-level position that oversees the design, implementation, and management of enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, and routing protocols, as well as knowledge of SD-WAN and software-defined networking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing network requirements and architecting solutions to meet business needs.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Maintaining personal knowledge of network vendor technologies and associated software.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network equipment.
  • Resolving complex issues involving a wide range of technologies.
  • Collaborating with other teams to install and configure Cisco Voice Gateways, Integrated Services Routers (ISRs), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog gateways, and other infrastructure equipment.
  • Working with carriers to configure and troubleshoot Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, and other WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Mentoring junior network engineers and ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE and using Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and software-defined networking preferred.
  • Experience working in a VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python and Ansible required.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
