We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Process Supervisor to oversee the production process and ensure that it runs efficiently and safely.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage resources such as manpower, machinery, materials, and finances effectively to meet production targets.
  • Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of projects and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Enforce quality standards by conducting regular inspections and tests to guarantee high-quality products.
  • Ensure production processes are safe for workers and the environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods to prevent interruptions in the production process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 15 years of experience in freight car business and wagon manufacturing business.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
