Optometry Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometry Specialist to provide high-quality eye care services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests to assess patients' visual acuity and diagnose any eye-related issues
  • Offer personalized advice on proper eye care and the selection of eyewear, taking into account patients' lifestyles, preferences, and needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including examination results, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and products in the eyewear industry, ensuring that patients receive the best possible options for their eye health and style
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and service
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in optometry practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional codes of conduct
  • Assist patients in selecting and adjusting eyewear products, providing guidance on proper fitting and maintenance
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals, using empathy and respect to build trust and rapport

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Optometry or a related field
  • Valid optometry license and certification
  • Strong knowledge of eye care and eyewear products, including the latest technologies and innovations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong record-keeping and time management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of optometry practices and technology, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Customer-focused and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and service
