Job Title:

Electronics Inspector

About the Position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented electronics inspector with expertise in inspecting cable harnesses, PCB assemblies, and electronic units.

The role requires strong knowledge of IPC standards, harness assembly guidelines, ESD practices, and component-level inspection.

The inspector will ensure electronic assemblies and subsystems conform to industry and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental tests such as thermal cycling, vibration, humidity, altitude, shock, and ingress protection (IP) tests on electronic units.
  • Perform EMI/EMC testing as per applicable military, automotive, or aerospace standards.
  • Prepare and verify test setups, fixtures, and monitoring instruments.
  • Evaluate test parameters and report anomalies.
  • Assist in configuring and operating data acquisition systems and EMI/EMC test receivers.
  • Document all test procedures, results, and observations accurately and generate detailed test reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot failures and support root cause analysis.
  • Maintain lab safety, ESD, and calibration requirements.
  • Participate in audits and maintain readiness for regulatory and customer inspections.
  • Support test automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IPC standards and ESD practices.
  • Experience in inspecting cable harnesses, PCB assemblies, and electronic units.
  • Ability to conduct environmental tests and EMI/EMC testing.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
