The Hyderabad Support Center focuses on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, e-commerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate our business strategy. We also host an innovation lab and collaborate with start-ups to develop solutions for productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, payments systems, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable automated data solutions based on business requirements, including data models, database objects, stored procedures, and views.
- Develop new and enhance existing data processing components, such as data ingest, transformation, storage, management, and quality.
- Support and troubleshoot the data environment, including on-call rotations.
- Document technical artifacts for developed solutions.
- Interact effectively with various teams within the organization and build sustainable relationships.
- Think creatively and out-of-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions.
- Master new skills and apply a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarize yourself with Agile practices and methodologies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A four-year degree in Information Systems, Finance/Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar field is required.
- Three to five years of experience in Data Engineering is necessary.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views.
- Focus on ELT to load data into databases and perform transformations.
- Ability to use analytical SQL functions.
- Experience with Snowflake, Cloud Data Warehouse solutions, data modeling, analysis, programming, and DevOps models.
- Work in hands-on Cloud environments in Azure Cloud Platform (ADLS, Blob).
- Knowledge of Talend, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and BI tools like Tableau.
- Analyze data models and possess strong technical, analytical, programming, and critical thinking skills.
