AKS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps professional to design, implement and optimize our enterprise-grade cloud-native infrastructure. This role will be hands-on with architecture and automation while also providing strategic direction on cloud adoption, DevOps tooling, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Architecture & Strategy: Define the end-to-end architecture for cloud-based workloads in Azure, including multi-environment, multi-region architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Azure & AKS Expertise: Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using CNI / Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration.
- DevOps & Automation: Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning, implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments, and define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for AKS workloads.
- Security & Compliance: Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access, integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads, and ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
- Monitoring, Logging, & Observability: Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana, establish automated alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response playbooks.
