Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced LAN Network Engineer to join our team.

  • Troubleshoot network issues end-to-end using technology support from Meraki, Viptela, and F5.

The ideal candidate will oversee complex network fault investigations at an L2 level in local and wide area environments. They will also be responsible for problem management, continual improvement, audits, change management, DDI Architecture, tools and automation, operational acceptance, and vulnerability management.

The LAN Network Engineer will work closely with network vendors and other internal teams to drive service improvement and development plans.

The role requires a deep understanding of DDI architecture, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM components. The successful candidate will also be responsible for technical review and impact assessment of network changes.

Experience with Thousand eye and Datadog tools is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

L2 Level Fault Investigations:

  • Investigate and resolve network faults in local and wide area environments.

Problem Management:

  • Identify and manage problems that affect network performance and stability.

DDI Architecture:

  • Design, implement, and manage DDI architecture, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM components.

Tools and Automation:

  • Implement tools and automation to improve network efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Vulnerability Management:

  • Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure.

Operational Acceptance:

  • Ensure that network changes are properly tested and validated before implementation.

Service Improvement:

  • Work with network vendors and internal teams to drive service improvement and development plans.
