Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist

About the Role:
You will play a crucial part in our team, responsible for executing the Process review and Enhancement (PRE) Self Inspection program, Business Continuity Planning, and weekly production of WFS Operations metric program. Additionally, you will assist in monthly processing for Sub-Ledger Account Substantiation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Walk through (Process Risk Reviews) sessions with operations teams to maintain a collaborative environment for process gap analysis, control testing, Metric Mapping, Identifying Key risk indicators, and continuous monitoring.
- Understand various aspects of Risk and Control Framework, including RCSA, Incident Management, Issue Management, Control Testing, and Validation.
- Interact with EMEA business partners in delivering control testing, Incident Reporting, Risk reviews.
- Support work streams, including SIP, BCP, and WFS Operations Strategy and Metrics.
- Assist in production and testing of sub-ledger account reconciliations across WFS Operations.
- Build and manage cross-functional, cross-organizational relationships through consistent collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Capital Market operations/middle office operations, including static data, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and investigations.
- Good working experience in product classes like FX, equity, fixed income, with functional expertise of brokerage, broker dealer services.
- Moderate experience in Operational risk, specifically identifying and assessing Key risks, Key Controls, and key risk indicators.
- 6-8 years of experience.
- English language proficiency and ability to work nights.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of processes flows, process gaps, and controls associated with Capital Market operations/middle office operations.
- Knowledge of BCP and Risk Management.
- MS Office skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of Capital Markets and different product taxonomies within business segments (FX, Derivatives, Brokerage).
- Knowledge of Risk function deliverables like Key Risks & Controls and testing thereof.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of systems: GMI, Intellimatch, Imagine, Broadridge, Calypso.
- Good team player.
- Working experience in Corporate investment banking in operational risk role.
