Job Overview:

The role of Governance Risk Manager is responsible for leading and executing cybersecurity projects throughout their entire lifecycle, focusing on security outcomes and alignment with business objectives.

  • Cybersecurity Project Execution: Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, prioritizing security best practices.
  • Security Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, developing risk mitigation strategies aligned with organizational risk appetite.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration (Security Focus): Engage with internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing security requirements and implications, effectively communicating security-related information and managing expectations.
  • Security Compliance & Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor security controls, ensuring projects adhere to relevant cybersecurity policies, regulations, and industry standards, conducting security assessments and ensuring deliverables meet stringent security quality standards.
  • Security Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to security aspects of projects, including risk assessments, vulnerability reports, and security architecture diagrams, preparing and presenting security-focused reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise Application: Leverage deep expertise in cybersecurity to guide project teams, ensuring projects are designed and implemented with security as a primary consideration, providing security guidance and mentorship to team members.
