We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in medical record software and hardware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing physician dictation and transcribing it into clinical notes in EMR/Billing systems. They will also prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring that all records are accurate and compliant with hospital policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transcribing physician dictation into clinical notes
- Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts
- Ensuring medical record compliance and accuracy
- Updating patient history and physical exam information in the patient's chart
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Scribe, strong Microsoft Office skills, and solid oral and written communication skills. A medical coding certification or successful completion of a certification program is also required.
In addition to these skills, we are looking for someone who is highly organized, able to work independently, and has a strong attention to detail.
